Allen Engineering Corporation (AEC) was founded in 1964 by Dewayne and Mary Ann Allen in Piggott, Arkansas. For almost 50 years, our company has been involved in various aspects of the concrete industry. Our company began as a ready-mix concrete and aggregate producer. We later operated as a concrete pumper as well as a concrete contractor. Today, Allen Engineering is a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of the Allen® line of concrete placing, finishing and paving equipment.
Our product line represents a complete system for placing, finishing, or paving all types of concrete. We design and build each piece of Allen Equipment to be “contractor tough.” Furthermore, Allen Equipment is specifically designed to help improve concrete floor flatness (as measured by F-Numbers), and improve daily production (as measured by profit numbers).
Allen Engineering has maintained a leading role in the evolution of high tolerance concrete floors around the world. AEC is one of the few manufacturers of concrete equipment with a sales force certified in F-Numbers. Furthermore, Allen Engineering counts many of the major concrete contractors from around the world as satisfied owners of our equipment.
Allen Engineering Corporation, still owned by the Allen Family, is headquartered in Paragould, Arkansas, USA (located in the northeast corner of the state). AEC is a fully integrated equipment designer and manufacturer. Our in-house operations include equipment design, engineering, prototype & testing, CNC machining, metal fabrication, laser & plasma metal cutting, welding, powder coating, assembly, and warehousing & distribution.
Allen Engineering also employs an international sales and marketing team that includes a full-time sales force as well as a network of independent sales representative agencies. Allen Concrete Equipment is sold worldwide in over 60 countries through a network of concrete equipment dealers.
BUILT RIGHT HERE
At Allen Engineering, we’re as proud of our people and our engineering as we are of the machines we build.
From the very first truss screed, our name has included ‘engineering.’ It’s been our commitment to deliver products that don’t just perform at their highest level, they’re built to stand up to the demands of the most difficult environments and job sites. That combination of precision engineering of sophisticated machines—coupled with the brute strength of heavy-gauge steel, welded frames and high-performance power—has served Allen Engineering well for 50 years and two generations of family management and ownership. Today we’re investing in new products and new manufacturing muscle to build them. So while we may be one of the last of the “American Owned and Made” manufacturers of concrete and related equipment, we’re so confident in our ‘built-to-last’ core principle and engineering innovation, that we’re grooming the third generation of Allens to continue our tradition of excellence.
